FAW Module Upgrade

The first aid at work instructor upgrade can be run directly after the core first aid instructor module. These courses are available at our training facility in Colchester, Essex. at your Business premesis or a suitable location near you.

Once you have completed this module you will be able to become an Emergency First Response® Workplace First Aid Facility rather than having to apply directly to the HSE subject to certain criteria being met for more information please see below

You will be qualified to teach One Day EFAW Courses, Four day at Work first aid courses, two day HSE requalification courses and act as an assessor in addition to the courses you qualified to teach after completion of the Core Instructor Module.

You will need to hold a current four day First Aid at Work provider certificate before you can take this course, but we can provide the provider and core instructor module and the First Aid at Work upgrade over a five day period.
There are exceptions to the four day provider if you are a registered Doctor, Nurse or Paramedic.

Becoming a Workplace First Aid Training Facility

Applying to be a HSE approved centre can be a lengthy and expensive process with no guarantee of success, some companies have spent up to £2000.00 and a considerable amount of time and effort to gain approval.

With the training system being able to teach Workplace first aid is a straightforward simple process, because you are registering to be an Emergency First Response® Workplace Training Facility

Once the course has been successfully completed you send your papers off for processing, There is a set up fee which is a fraction of the price that you would have to pay to be able to become an HSE Approved Training Provider in your own right

If you do not want to register as an Emergency First Response® Workplace First Aid Facility you can teach through an already established HSE Approved Training Provider, we are able to assist you whichever route you decide to take.
